Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Bible Prayer ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Holy Bible App: Prayer to God mobile application (the "App") and the website holybible.world (the "Site"). The short version: the App was built so that your prayer life stays private — on your device, not on our servers.

1. The App: your data stays on your device

The App is designed to work without collecting your personal information:

• No account required. You never provide a name, email address or password to use the App.
• Journal entries, moods and prayer progress are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, read, or have access to them.
• Works offline. The App's core features function without an internet connection.
• No tracking. The App does not contain advertising SDKs and does not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
• Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Notification permission is optional and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

If you delete the App, the data it stored on your device (journal entries, moods, progress) is deleted with it, subject to your device's iOS backup settings (for example, an iCloud device backup you control).

2. Information Apple provides

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized statistics about downloads, crashes and usage (as described in Apple's own privacy terms). These statistics do not identify you personally. Your purchase and download history is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.

3. The Site

holybible.world is a static informational website. We do not set tracking cookies, run analytics scripts, or display advertising on the Site. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained by the hosting provider for a limited period and are not used to identify or profile visitors.

4. Children's privacy

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the App collects no personal data and requires no account, no child-specific data handling applies. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

5. Data security

Because your journal and prayer data never leave your device, the primary protection is your device's own security. We recommend using a device passcode and keeping iOS up to date. Where the App offers appearance of privacy features (such as on-device storage), we design them so that we cannot access your content even if we wanted to.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Since we do not collect or hold personal data about App users, there is generally nothing for us to produce or delete — your data is under your direct control on your device. 7. Scripture and content

Scripture quotations in the App and on the Site are from the King James Version, which is in the public domain.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how the App or Site handles data, we will update this policy and revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted in the App's update notes.
